As we update, improve, and expand FinnQuiz, this Privacy Policy may change, so please check it periodically. By accessing the FinnQuiz website or app you give us your consent to collect, store, and use the information you provide (including any updates you later submit) for the services that we offer. FinnQuiz is owned and operated by FinnQuiz ("FinnQuiz," "company," "we," "us"). This policy explains how we treat the information collected through our services as well as any information provided to us online or offline by end users, advertisers, and other customers. It does not apply to information collected from our employees, contractors, or vendors.

By accessing any FinnQuiz experience you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use and consent to the collection, transfer, operation, storage, disclosure, and other uses described below. Do not access or use FinnQuiz by any means that conceals your actual geo-location (for example, by using a VPN). Applicability

This notice applies to all users. Where required by local law, additional rights or disclosures for Indian and non-Indian users will be honored.

1. Information we capture, track, or obtain

Information is collected only after you grant the relevant permissions. We use the data below to provide customized services, improve delivery, build new offerings, detect and reduce fraud, and comply with applicable law.

  • Device and account information: We collect device-specific information (such as IP address). We use this information to detect fraud, prevent unauthorized usage, understand usage patterns, and support marketing or advertising activities.
  • Log information: When you use our services or view FinnQuiz content we automatically collect server logs, including details of how you used the service, device events such as crashes and system activity, hardware settings, timestamps, referral URLs, interest signals for relevant offers, IP address, and strictly necessary cookies.
  • Unique application numbers and local storage: Certain services include a unique application number and installation details (OS type, app version, etc.). We may also store data locally (session data and caches) to maintain your session, sync preferences with our servers, and keep FinnQuiz optimized for your device.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies, device identifiers, and SDKs (including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Firebase) to maintain sessions, authenticate users, prevent fraud, measure traffic, personalize experiences, and deliver ads.

4. Third-party advertising companies

We use Google AdSense and/or Google Ad Manager to serve ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other sites. 5. Retention and transfers

FinnQuiz retains information only for as long as necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support research or backup requirements. Personal data is stored on infrastructure located in India; limited transfers outside India may occur when essential cloud services operate abroad under contractual safeguards.

  • Account/profile data is generally kept while your account remains active.
  • Support requests and feedback may be retained for up to 24 months to improve service quality.
  • Security and fraud-prevention logs are typically retained for 30 to 90 days.
  • Analytics data may be retained for up to 26 months depending on provider settings.

6. Children's privacy

FinnQuiz is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights and choices

You may exercise the following rights by emailing support@finnquiz.com:

  • Right to be informed and access copies of your data.
  • Right to correction, erasure, and restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability (where technically feasible).
  • Right to object or opt out of certain processing, including targeted ads.

8. How to delete your data

To request deletion, email support@finnquiz.com with the subject line "Delete My Data" and include the email you use on FinnQuiz. We may verify your request before deleting data. Some information may be retained if required by law or for fraud prevention.

9. Response timing and format

We aim to respond within 30-45 days (extendable to 90 days with notice). Responses are provided electronically unless you request another channel. We do not charge a fee unless a request is excessive or unfounded.

10. Security, accountability, and escalation

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India or your local authority.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates become effective when posted. We will seek renewed consent when required for new uses of personal data.
